Challenge
The Head of Executive Communications for a Fortune 500 companyneeded fresh thinking and a more strategic structure for annual business planning,which often fell victim to the “tyranny of the urgent.”
Our Approach
We conducted stakeholder interviews to uncover opportunities, friction points, and external trends impacting the function. Together, we identified three strategic priorities aligned with the overall corporate strategy and developed executive positioning plans that clarified roles, audiences, messages, and channels.
Outcome
The function gained sharper focus and stronger execution. With clearly defined priorities and positioning, executives spent targeted time with the right audiences, using the right messages at the right moments.
